This is the sequel to Goose Girl, which is a retelling of the Grimm’s fairytale of that same name. Enna is the Goose Girl, Isi’s, best friend in the first novel and this novel explores what happens to her. She finds she has the gift of fire-speaking, but then has a hard time not letting it overtake her. She also falls in love with her friend Finn after many a detour. I really liked this book. I listened to it on CD and I really loved the production of it. It was very interesting to watch Enna try to find out who she was. It was a great sequel.
