1. The Pemberley Chronicles: Book 1 by Rebecca Ann Collins

This was a pretty good sequel but it was really long. Sometimes I think she tries to take in too much and the story suffers. Her plotlines are good but it is hard to find the characters in all the story. Darcy and Elizabeth become kind of flat. Even when they lose a son near the end of the novel, their anguish is hard to find in all the relating of where they went and who they visited. I don’t know. I guess I found it a little dry. I may read the rest in the series but I think I need a breather first.
