5. Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters by Jane Austen and Ben H. Winters

This book took me a really long time to read. It is kind of like Jane Austen meets Jules Verne. It definitely was less violent than Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but only slightly. I couldn't quite put it down because I had to find out how they would follow the Austen story and still incorporate the sea monsters. The dedication to the book reads, "This book is dedicated to my parents--lovers of great literature and great silliness." That pretty much sums up the book, great literature mixed with great silliness.
