78.The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me by Roald Dahl

I have to say that I have never been crazy about Roald Dahl. But after reading this book which was really very cute, I realize that maybe I'm just not crazy about the movie adaptations of his books. I really did like this book. The illustrations were cute, the story was original, funny and lyrical. I would read this aloud to any kid because it was so great. It only takes about an hour to read and is well worth the time.
